Quite firm, somewhat tobacco aroma of black and red berries with dried floral and nutty hints, cedary nuances, dried meat and a hint of juniper. Very firm in the mouth as well, tart fruit with smoky and nutty wood aromas, tobacco, a little pepper and dried herbs, slightly smoky wood, present, ripe, fine tannin and a certain acid bite, lasting, mineral in the background, still young, cedary tones, a hint of pepper, multi-layered, lots of power, very good to long, firm finish. Completely underestimated by us in its youth; should mature even further.

Editor note: Tart, smoky, slightly cedary nose with earthy and mineral nose, dried herbs and dark sugar candy. Full-bodied, concentrated and quite juicy on the palate, slightly brittle tannins and prominent oak, candied nuts and chocolate, very creamy with noticeable alcohol, more arthy and salty mineral notes, good persistence and has some depth, loads of dark caramel, more chocolate and prominent oak on the finish.
