The estate is located in the municipality of Carmignano (province of Prato) in the Italian region Tuscany, The entire property covers 160 hectares of land at 180 to 300 meters above sea level on the hills of the Montalbano countryside. Of these, 90 hectares of fruit chestnuts and 60 hectares of olives are cultivated according to the rules of biodynamic agriculture, as well as honey and figs. The business has been owned by the family since 1920 and is managed by Maria Rossella Bencini. The vineyards cover eight hectares of vineyards with the red varieties Sangiovese. Cabernet Sauvignon and Canaiolo Nero, as well as the white varieties Malvasia del Chianti ( Malvasia Bianca Lunga ) and Trebbiano Toscano are planted.
