Preserved cherries as well as rather more black than red berries on the nose, light cedary note, smoky with some dried herbs. Quite juicy, lots of ripe fruit with a delicate acid bite, and fairly prominent, but quite well integrated spicy oak, chocolate and roasted aromas on the palate, quite fine, but slightly astringent tannins, good persistence, good finish.

Best to drink: Bis 2009+. What our ratings mean
