1999 Fellbach Lämmler Spätburgunder trocken Mithras, Württemberg, Germany

Tight, cool and smoky on the nose with aromas of preserved sour cherries and black berries. A lot of smoky and roasted wood in the mouth, drying, slightly dusty tannin, powerful body with perceptible alcohol, the fruit is edged out into the background, dry and slightly drying finish. Completely influenced by wood.
