2003 Fellbach Goldberg Lemberger trocken Mithras -P-, Württemberg, Germany

Red berries on the nose, delicate hint of marzipan, spicy oak with a hint of coconut. Full-bodied, tart red berry fruit on the palate, ever so slightly sweetish, has some substance, herbs and spices, prominent astringent tannins, some green and animal notes in the background, not particularly deep, but solid, attractive finish.
