2003 Fellbach Lämmler Spätburgunder trocken -P-, Württemberg, Germany

Overripe black and red berries on the nose, roasted oak, light lactic and some volatile notes. Quite firm and full-bodied on the palate, slightly restrained fruit pushed into the background by the oak, dark berries and cherries, prominent roasted notes, moderate depth and substance, well integrated, albeit slightly dry oak tannins, opulent style, good finish.

Editor note: Cherries, red and black berries on the nose, herbs and spices, some coconut and vanilla. Warm, juicy fruit on the palate, dark roasted notes and vanilla, quite fine, but slightly dry tannins, huge body, creamy with noticeable alcohol, smoky notes, quite persistent, good finish dominated by oak.
