2003 Pinot Meunier trocken -S-, Württemberg, Germany

Fairly open nose, soft with delicate berry fruit, also has mushrooms and chestnut wood. Harmonious on the palate with very restrained fruit, touch of dark berries, prominent sandy tannins, bitter and angular oak, hint of fruit on an attractive finish. Needs some time to mature.
