2005 Fellbach Lämmler Spätburgunder trocken P, Württemberg, Germany

Red and black berries on the nose, delicate vegetal notes, dried herbs and spices, tart roasted notes with a touch of coffee. Slightly overripe, jammy fruit on the palate, malted notes, prominent oak, fairly mature tannins, some wilted leaves, quite creamy, not a lot of real substance or persistence, attractive finish.
