Smoky nose, some ashes and a hint of tobacco, black berries, dried herbs, some licorice, plums and some dark chocolate. Firm, tart, juicy, fairly cool fruit on the palate, dark spicy oak with a touch of chocolate, smoky notes, hint of tobacco, peppery spice, hint of bacon, persistent, clear varietal character, some depth, salty and earthy traces in the background, hint of mint, more light mineral notes and smoky, spicy oak on a very good juicy finish.
