2016 Chianti Classico DOCG Riserva Berardenga Rancia, Tuscany, Italy

Firm, somewhat cedary and fleshy aroma of black and a little red berries with fine herbaceous, tobacco and spicy flavours as well as a certain minerality and a hint of ash in the background. Ripe, juicy, tightly knit fruit with smoky, roasted and tobacco notes, very fine, youthful tannins, excellent substance and persistence, spicy and ethereal notes, good depth, salty minerality in the background, quite complex, very good, firm, juicy and spicy finish with some roasting, spices and tobacco.
