2016 Riesling Landwein Steinwerk, Baden, Germany

Nutty and vegetal notes on the nose, light yellow spice, citrus, pomaceous and stone fruit, herbaceous notes, mineral notes. Fairly sweet, juicy, ripe fruit on the palate, partly preserved and candied, elegant acidity, integrated tannins, prominent earthy and light salty mineral notes, some more yellow spice, hint of bacon, prominent herbaceous notes, slightly creamy with slightly noticeable warm alcohol, good depth, hint of tobacco, touch of red berries, hint of mushrooms and bay leaf, light nutty oak in the background, fairly complex, some grip on a very good, firm, sweetish, juicy, spicy finish.
