2018 Landwein "Claired", Baden, Germany

Red fruit aromas on the nose, fairly prominent notes of root vegetables, light pomaceous fruit, earthy notes. Vegetal and yeasty notes on the palate, red and some black berry fruit, prominent yeasty notes, lively acidity, ripe tannins provide grip, good persistence, floral traces, slightly sweetish, light mineral notes, good to very good finish. Unusual, but good.
