2000 D.O.Ca Rioja Reserva, La Rioja, Spain

Cark cherry to garnet. Very clearly defined fruit on the nose, red and black berries and some sour cherries, spicy notes, roasted aromas and a whiff of minerals. Soft, ripe fruit, fine dusty tannins, full-bodied, alcoholic, persistent on the palate, very creamy, some dark chocolate, appears youthful, good long finish.
