Partly dried red and black berries on the nose, earthy and dried vegetal notes, some meaty notes, soup stock, prominent oak. Firm and full-bodied on the palate, predominantly dark fruit, tart chocolate, coffee, spicy oak, fine tannins, dried vegetal notes, cool mineral elements, persistent and deep, still slightly dominated by oak, light cedary notes too, also quite firm and compact, very good finish. Improves with aeration over days.
