2006 Cannonau di Sardegna DOC Riserva Síleno, Sardinia, Italy

Red berries, some blueberries and cherries on the nose, touch of preserved red bell peppers, light herbaceous notes, hint of spicy oak. Full-bodied and juicy on the palate, ripe fruit with partly smoky, partly sweetish spicy oak, very creamy, good persistence, fine, mature tannins evenly distributed, delicate hint of chocolate, but the fruit dominates, good to very good finish.
