2005 Aleatico di Puglia DOC passito Liatico, Apulia, Italy

Candied citrus zests on the nose, dried oranges, candied mandarins, light caramel and cake spices, sweet herbs and spices. Candied orange and citrus fruit again dominate the palate, also has caramel, cocoa, cloves, allspice, medicinal herbs and a hint of vanilla, fairly moderate, integrated tannins, bit of acidity keeps things lively, good long finish.
