2007 Salice Salentino DOC, Apulia, Italy

Berries on the nose, hint of baked plums, light cedary and burnt notes, animal traces. Slightly rustic, straightforward style, very slightly sweetish preserved berry and plum fruit on the palate, medium body, slightly astringent tannins, has some substance, clearly shows its origins, hint of dark chocoalte on a good, firm finish.
