Firm, somewhat nutty and tobacco aroma of ripe, partly preserved black berries and plums with a hint of cherries, herbal hints and pomegranate. Clear, juicy, polished fruit with youthful, fine tannins and some acid bite, slightly nutty and dried-vegetable on the palate, moderate wood, good substance and persistence, restrained power, fresh herbaceous flavors in the background, a hint of citrus, some depth, still young, some salt, very good, firm, juicy finish with traction.
