2010 Barolo DOCG Riserva, Piedmont, Italy

Dried floral and light tarry notes on the nose, predominantly red berries, some dried mushrooms and a whiff of cola nut. Fairly juicy fruit on the palate, elegant acid bite, fairly well integrated tannins, fairly persistent, herbaceous and floral traces, some more cola nut in the background, very slightly perfumed style, good persistence, delicate acid bite, very slightly muted, earthy notes and a hint of tobacco in the background, good to very good finish.
