2011 Aglianico del Taburno DOCG, Campania, Italy

Tobacco and woody scent of ripe black and red berries with earthy and very cedar tones. Rather soft, partly preserved fruit, vegetal and earthy notes, some tobacco, crumbled dusty tannins, fairly persistent, delicate acid bite, slightly drying on the palate, cocoa in the background, slightly blurred contours, good finish with noticeable alcohol.
