2012 Aglianico del Taburno DOCG, Campania, Italy

Rather animal and somewhat earthy scent of red and black berries with floral and herbaceous-vegetal notes. Some jammy fruit, slightly nutty, spicy and dried floral, a hint of cocoa on the palate, certain strength and persistence, fine sandy tannin, noticeable alcohol, hinted of liquorice, good finish.
