AOC area in the French wine region law, The vineyards cover 650 hectares in around 60 of the 105 communities. The best known are Arlay, Gevingey, Le Vernois, Poligny, Rotalier and Voiteur. The red wine is out Poulsard. Trousseau Noir and Pinot Noir blended. White varieties may also be used for rosé. The white wine is made from Savagnin Blanc ( Traminer ) Pinot Blanc and Melon d'Arbois ( Chardonnay ) pressed. AOC Côtes du Jura Mousseux applies to sparkling wine from Savagnin, Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc. AOC Côtes du Jura Vin de Paille applies to sweets Vin de paille...
