2016 Wachau Ried Kollmütz Grüner Veltliner Smaragd® trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Firm, noticeably vegetal to herbal and a hint of tobacco with a lot of earthy minerality and aromas of ripe yellow fruits. Ripe, juicy, tightly knitted fruit, vegetal, nutty and herbal tones, very slightly floral on the palate, very fine acidity, persistent, good substance and a certain depth, salty, cooling minerality in the background, quite well integrated, very high alcohol, rather compact structure, sweet melting and candy notes, quite complex, very good finish, again with candy notes, honey and a little yellow spice
