2013 Barolo DOCG Cannubi, Piedmont, Italy

Clear nose, light vegetal notes, partly preserved mixed berries and some cherries, earthy and light peppery aromas, dried herbs, some nuts and leathery traces. Tart, juicy, fairly polished fruit on the palate, nutty oak, earthy notes, spicy traces, youthful, ripe, fine sandy tannins, persistent, some undergrowth, firm grip, fairly tart style, some bite, still slightly astringent on a very good finish.
