2014 Barbaresco DOCG, Piedmont, Italy

Herbaceous, vegetal, earthy and slightly nutty nose, with restrained red berry aromas and some cassis, a lot of liquorice and hints of gum. Light-bodied, tart red fruit on the palate, vegetal aromas, acid bite, fine sandy tannins, fairly persistent, slightly muted, delicate bitter note, not particularly deep, attractive to good, only slightly green on an earthy and asheny traces.
