Quite an open nose with prominent spicy oak, tart black and some red berries, hint of cherries. Full-bodied, ripe fruit on the palate, prominent tart spicy oak, some vegetal notes, medium-fine, slightly astringent tannins, noticeable alcohol, fairly persistent, good finish.

Editor note: Preserved mixed berries on the nose, some cherries and plums, spicy and light oaky notes. Fairly soft on the palate, slightly jammy, predominantly dark fruit, roasted notes and sweetish oak, fairly fine but slightly astringent tannins, not particularly deep, noticeable alcohol on an oaky finish.
