2006 Oltrepò Pavese DOC Giorgio Odero, Lombardy, Italy

Sweetish nose, partly overripe, candied and dried red berries, floral notes, aromatic herbaceous notes. Some oak on the palate, red fruit, fine but dusty and astringent tannins, not particularly deep, noticeable alcohol, roasted notes, slightly astringent on an attractive to good finish. Should be a bit fresher.
