2004 Vipavska dolina Barbera trocken, Primorska, Slovenia

Tart preserved mixed berries and cherries on the nose, dried flowers and dried herbs, light smoky and roasted notes. Quite juicy on the palate, light spicy oak, prominent cardamom and a hint of cloves, quite fine tannins, creamy dark fruit, quite full-bodied, good persistence, attractive to good finish.
