2009 Schloss Johannisberg Riesling Erstes Gewächs trocken Silberlack, Rheingau, Germany

Slightly warm, somewhat sweetish-floral and a touch waxy scent of partly candied citrus fruits and stone fruits. Somewhat developed, ripe, slightly warm and a touch sweetish fruit, very slightly muted, fine, ripe acidity, good persistence, has melting and some grip, quite clear minerality, a touch of liquorice and anise in the background, noticeable but integrated alcohol, relatively firm structure, some depth, very good, again slightly warm finish with juice, wax, minerality and grip.

Braucht Zeit.
