2017 Schloss Johannisberg Riesling trocken VDP.Gutswein, Bronzelack, Rheingau, Germany

Citrus and peaches on the nose, vegetal and herbaceous notes, prominent mineral notes and delicate floral traces in the background. Ripe, juicy, sweetish fruit on the palate, very elegant acidity, yeasty and nutty notes, herbacoeus notes, prominent earthy and mineral notes, floral traces and a hint of red berries in the background, some dapth, good grip, hint of tobacco and peppery traces, very good firm, juicy, spicy, herbaceous and minerally finish - but quite unnecessarily sweet.
