2016 Colli della Toscana Centrale IGT Gagliole, Tuscany, Italy

Tart, slightly smoky-woody aroma of ripe black and red berries with nutty and tobacco tones. Ripe, juicy, partly preserved fruit with spicy wood notes, ripe, fine tannin, a little bite, a lot of power and noticeable alcohol, which integrates well with air, very slightly marmalade-like tones, but then becomes fresher and fresher, salt in the background, persistent, good depth, very good, taut, juicy finish with peppery notes and minerality. Still needs to mature
