Cherries on the nose, prominent smoky oak, smoked meat. Smooth on the palate, some more smoked notes, prominent toasted notes, but also has some cherry fruit and some cool herbaceous notes, varietal character, integrated, still slightly prominent tannins, attractive to good finish. Needs some time to develop.
