2006 Eger trocken Egri Bikavér Superior "reneszánsz", Nordosten, Hungary

Slightly tart nose, partly dried black berries and cherries, herbaceous and floral notes, some dark chocolate and oak. More slightly tart black fruit on the palate, loads of dark roasted oak, fairly prominent, slightly sandy and astringent tannins, medium body, fairly persistent, not particularly deep, herbs and spices as well as prominnet oak and astringent tannins on the finish.

Best to drink: 2011-2016+. What our ratings mean
