Editor note: Black berries and some preserved plums on the nose, hint of cherries, touch of grilled bell peppery, light peppery notes, herbs and spices. Cool dark fruit on the palate, some more pepper and roasted bell peppers, fairly prominent fine sandy and slightly astringent tannins, good persistence, quite firmly structured, integrated oak, elegant acid bite, good depth, long finish.
