2006 Eger Chardonnay trocken, Nordosten, Hungary

Somewhat nutty and wood-spicy pome fruit-melon scent with vegetal and earthy hints. Nutty and sweetly melting, but also acidic in the mouth, pome fruit with vegetal hints, fine acidity, somewhat drying, almost brittle tannin, again sweetly melting and also alcoholic finish

Editor note: Fairly shy nose, melon and a hint of citrus, vegetal and nutty traces, light spicy oak. Cool and fairly creamy on the palate, bone dry, restraiend fruit, very elegant acidity, vegetal notes and some oak, slightly persistent, noticeable alcohol, not particularly deep, attractive finish.
