The winery "Josef Lentsch - gratitude" is located in the municipality of Podersdorf am See in the Burgenland wine-growing region Lake Neusiedl (Austria). Connected is the "Inn to Gratitude" that has existed for generations. The business is run by Josef and Heidi Lentsch. The vineyards cover 5.5 hectares of vineyards, four of which are cultivated by long-term contract winegrowers. The soils consist largely of sand and gravel with occasionally thin layers of humus. 70% of the white varieties Welschriesling, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc and Muscat Ottonel, as well as 30% of the red varieties Pinot Noir, Zweigelt and St. Laurent are processed. Premium wines are, for example, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Trockenbeerenauslese and the red wine cuvée “Zur Dankkeit” (Pinot Noir, St. Laurent, Zweigelt) and single-varietal wines from Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir. Around 30,000 bottles of wine are produced annually. Bottle-fermented sparkling wines and brandies are also produced.
