2007 Grignolino del Monferrato Casalese DOC "Bricco Mondalino", Piedmont, Italy

Fairly mature, spicy nose, partly dried red berries, undergrowth, spicy notes. Clear, elegant, juicy red fruit on the palate, prominent dried herbs and spices, noticeable acidity, fairly creamy, noticeable alcohol, medium-fine tannins, fairly persistent, light mineral notes, slightly astringent on an otherwise good finish.
