2008 Villány-Siklós Chardonnay, Südliches Transdanubien, Hungary

Spicy compact nose, yellow fruit and a hint of juniper and dried lovage, some old oak. Already quite soft on the palate, spicy and earthy notes, delicately bitter herbaceous notes, slightly diffuse preserved pomaceous fruit, moderate acidity, full-bodied and has some substance, still needs some time, herbs and spices on a slightly alcoholic but otherwise good finish.
