2007 Mannersdorf Gewürztraminer Beerenauslese süß, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Slightly spicy, leafy nose, preserved and dried, partly overripe yellow fruit, notes of lychee, tea and rosewood. Polished on the palate, fairly tranquil, medium-sweet, elegant yellow fruit, candied melon and a hint of lychee, some tart herbaceous notes, wilted leaves, touch of cocoa beans and rosewater, moderate, integrated acidity, lovely varietal character, has some substance, slightly alcoholic on a good long finish.
