Burnt nose, reminiscent of peanut butter, prominent oak aromas, subdued fruit. Roasted notes in the mouth, lots of dark chocolate, slightly sandy tannins, smoky on the palate, quite powerful, persistent, good structure, still largely undeveloped, tarry with quite a long finish.
