2005 Val di Cornia Suvereto DOC Federico Primo, Tuscany, Italy

Blackcurrants, blueberries and cherries on the nose, restrained oak. Very clear on the palate, juicy, full-bodied and relatively cool, black berries and smoky oak, cedary notes, very clear varietal character, persistent and polished, exceptionally fine tannins, well integrated alcohol, has some depth, not particularly complex, but quite well made, very good finish.
