Preserved plums and mixed berries on the nose, floral and herbaceous notes, some licorice and sour cherries, spicy oak. Full-bodied on the palate, very ripe fruit, quite juicy on the one hand, must strongly astringent tannins make for a slightly muted, brittle character, very creamy with buttery lactic notes, fairly persistent, slightly diffuse contours, oak, chocolate, good finish. Slightly overdone.

Best to drink: Bis 2013+. What our ratings mean
