Synonymous (also Rebula Bela, Zelena Rebula) for the grape variety Ribolla Gialla; look there.
The white grape variety comes from Slovenia, The name means "green" or "greener" and is derived from the emerald green color of the must. But it is a group of different grape varieties; the "true" cell has not yet been identified. It becomes a genetic relationship with the variety Verduzzo Friulano from the Italian Friuli suspected, but what DNA standard has not yet been confirmed. The medium to late ripening vine produces white wines with spicy acidity and spicy herbal notes. It is located in the Vipava Valley (Wipptal) in the region Primorska cultured. The white grape comes from the border area Italy (Gorizia) - Slovenia (Goricia). Synonyms are Mattozza, Pinela, Pinella Bianca, Pinjela, Pinello, Pinola and Vipavka. It was mentioned in the “Catalogo delle varieta delle viti Regno Veneto” as early as 1324. According to in 2013 DNA analysis is one of the many descendants of Gouais Blanc (White Heunisch); the second parent is unknown. However, this is based on only 20 DNA markers (see under molecular Genetics ). Possibly that is in the adjacent Slovenian region Primorska attached Pinela (Pinjela) identical.
