2007 Welschriesling Trockenbeerenauslese süß, Burgenland, Austria

Fairly mature nose, delicate hint of iodine, raisins and dried pomaceous fruit, dried floral traces, light soy sauce, candied nuts, touch of dark flowers, prominent sage. Extremely concentrated, viscous, sweet fruit on the palate, very elegant acidity, tobacco, coffee, caramel and candied nuts, very persistent and viscous, some candied radish, salty notes in the background, old oak, smoky traces, good depth, touch of broccoli in the background, complex and vaired, tart spicy notes provide the perfect balance for the tremendous sweetness, long, creamy, spicy finish.
