2014 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Cabernet Riserva Select, Alto Adige, Italy

Firm nose, smoky and earthy notes, hint of bacon, black berries, sooty notes, some cedar wood, pepper and black olives. Firm, fairly juicy black fruit on the palate, nutty oak, hint of licorice, peppery traces, spicy notes and some mik chocolate, medium body, hint of herbs and salty notes in the background, fairly fine youthful tannins, good to very good finish.
