2006 Clos de Vougeot AOC, Burgundy, France

Clear nose, preserved red and black berries, hint of partly dried cherries, some dried herbs as well as roasted oak. Firm, cool and elegantly juicy on the palate, some more roasted oak, but also has very clear, elegant, juicy fruit, quite fine and still youthful tannins, persistent, medium body and depth, elegant style, still young, refreshing, good long finish.

Best to drink: 2010-2018+. What our ratings mean
