Fairly firm, tart nose, ripe black berries, some spicy oak, peppery notes, licorice, prominent herbaceous and mineral notes. Firm, juicy, tart fruit on the palate, surprisingly cool in view of the high level of alcohol, nutty, slightly toasdted, spicy oak, more herbaceous aromas, light acid bite, firm youthful tannins, delicate hint of bacon in the background, touch of coffee, prominent mineral notes, still undeveloped, smoky oak on a very good, tart, juicy, herbaceous, mineral finish.
