2014 Assmannshausen Höllenberg Spätburgunder trocken Cabinetkeller, Mauerwein, Goldkapsel, Versteigerungswein, Rheingau, Germany

Light smoky and toasted notes on the nose, ripe black and a few red berries, fairly prominent tobacco notes, light malted notes and some bacon, earthy and mineral notes. Ripe, juicy, partly preserved and dried fruit on the palate, some toatsed, spicy oak, candied nuts, delicate hint of chocolate, very fine, fairly prominent but integrated tannins, delicate acid bite, persistent, polished, some depth, slightly creamy, good substance, salty mineral notes, light malted notes, slightly rustic style, more toasted traces and chocolate, tobacco, very good long, juicy finish.
