Tart nose, earthy notes and some oak, black berries, sooty traces, hint of bacon, mushrooms and undergrowth. Ripe, partly preserved dark fruit on the palate, toasted oak, chocolate and coffee notes, fairly prominent tannins, noticeable warm alcohol, slightly jammy, prominent oak on a good to very good warm, dark, juicy finish.
