2006 Nierstein Brudersberg Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Rheinhessen, Germany

Sweet, slightly wilted floral scent of ripe, partly preserved yellow fruits with vegetable nuances, a little yellow spice, a hint of wax and mineral notes. Ripe, soft, sweetish fruit, nutty, floral and slightly earthy tones, relatively moderate acidity, a little yellow spice, waxy notes, melting and certain warmth, good to very good, again relatively sweet, soft finish

Editor note: Tranquil nose, fairly mature, preserved and dried apricots, delicate mineral notes. Persistent, soft, concentrated apricot and peach fruit on the palate, moderate, integrated acidity, quite an appealing style, mineral and herbaceous notes in the background, clean, already quite developed and approachable, good finish.
